Culturally Responsive Communication: A Focus on the African American Community

This workshop is designed for professionals to enhance their cultural competence and ethical decision-making skills. Through interactive discussions and case studies, participants will explore key aspects of African American culture - including communication styles and community dynamics - to improve rapport and service delivery. The program will also provide a comprehensive overview of Mandated Reporting and Duty to Warn; clarifying the legal and ethical distinctions between these principles.
